A couple excited for a new adventure in the city hails a cab and is soon chatting with their friendly driver, who fills the ride with jokes and cheerful banter. Initially charmed by his lighthearted nature, they relax, believing they’re in good hands. However, when they realize the driver has taken a turn they didn’t recognize, they grow uneasy. He reassures them, saying it’s a shortcut and they’ll reach their destination faster. Trusting him, they settle back, but something feels off as the surroundings become eerily desolate.
